World reported twice as many cholera cases in 2022 as in 2021: WHO

Cholera is a water-borne dis- ease caused by two strains called O1 and 0139 of the bacteria Vibrio cholera. O1 is responsible for almost all out-breaks: outbreaks of 0139 are rare and none have been recorded out side Asia.
